Boots from USB, then AOMEI sticks on splash screen

Hi, I can boot into Windows from a USB memory stick created in AOMEI Backupper without a problem, but when AOMEI backupper starts to load it gets stuck on the splash screen. The three white dots in the bottom left corner of the splash screen just keep repeating. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you
