- Question from Apple Community

iPhone 13 is coming! From the rumors we’ve heard about iPhone 13, Apple will unveil four iPhones this year with a larger battery, camera improvement, faster chips, and perhaps under-display Touch ID, etc.

In this passage, I’d like to introduce you to 4 effective ways to transfer data from old iPhone to new iPhone in detail.

Solution 1. The easiest way to switch to new iPhone with AOMEI MBackupper

The reason why I’d like to introduce you to a third-party tool instead of an official one is that AOMEI MBackupper is a professional backup and transfer tool for Apple devices.

AOMEI MBackupper has these features and advantages.
No data loss. It will transfer your photos, contacts, call history, text messages, memos, calendars, Safari (history, bookmarks), applications (data files, preference), system settings.
Clear interface and simple steps. There are not many things to do for you if you want to switch data from the old iPhone to a new iPhone.
Wide compatibility. It supports most iPhone models from iPhone 4 to the latest iPhone 12 and can work well in the latest iOS 15. It is also perfectly compatible with different versions of iPad and iPod.

Now download AOMEI MBackupper and follow the steps to switch to new iPhone.

Before all the processes, you need to do some preparations and checks.
• All original data in the target iPhone will be overwritten. Hence, if there is something important that you don’t want to lose, you can backup your iPhone and restore them later.
• The system version of the target iPhone cannot be lower than that of your source iPhone.
• You need to check whether your target iPhone has enough space remained to store all the data of the source iPhone.

Step 1. Launch in AOMEI MBackupper > Connect both your old iPhone and new iPhone to a computer > Tap Trust This Computer on the two iPhones.

Step 2. Click the iPhone to iPhone Transfer function in the Tools bar in the Home interface.

Backup Encryption Not Enabled

If you enable backup encryption, you will be asked to enter the backup password when you intend to use the backup file to restore.
If the password of the backup files is changed, the files can only be accessed with the new password. Equivalently, if you delete the password, the backup files will not be encrypted anymore.

Step 4. Click Start Transfer to begin the transfer > Wait for the transfer to completing, and the target iPhone will be restarted automatically.

Start Transfer

After restarting, you can check whether all the contents have been copied to your new iPhone. There is something you should know after the process.
▶ After the transfer is completed, the backup password will be saved to the target iPhone.
▶ AOMEI MBackupper has multiple functions. For example, if necessary, you can wipe your old iPhone clean to protect your privacy.
