Failed to import photos from iPhone to Windows 10

2.Replace your USB cable with a valid one or change USB port

When there are some issues with the USB cable or USB port that connect your PC with the iPhone, your computer can detect the iPhone normally and you aren’t likely to get the message mentioned above. In such condition, replacing the invalid USB with a working one or connect your iPhone to another USB port on Windows 10 computer might be helpful.

3.Update or reinstall Apple Mobile Device Driver

Outdated driver also can be the cause for the issue. If so, you can update Apple Mobile Device Driver to fix it. Here are the steps:

1.Press Windows+ R to open Run window, type “devmgmt.msc” and hit Enter to open Device Manager.

2.Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers and right click Apple Mobile Device USB Driver.

3.Choose Update Driver Software and Search automatically for updated driver software.

Note: You can also choose Uninstall Device to uninstall the driver and then remove and connect the iPhone to reinstall driver.

4. Wait patiently and then try to see whether you can see your iPhone photos in Windows 10 Photo App or iTunes.
