Thanks please try the numeric IP variant as suggested. There IS a known difference. The IP variant is known to work, I myself did it (if it still doesn't work, either it is a new problem or a local issue at your NAS or whatever).

as far as I understand, U did select back up to a network share in the form \\192.168.p.pp\myshare\folder and it does not let you do this?

in Windows PE there should not be pending installs! (this relates to #50)
@nagual it is known that PE Builder does not boot on a foreign system (…

The error message was quite disturbing, because it boots without the driver anyway. In my opinion only after winload.efi gets called, it does even know where to find the driver. Firmware finds, as far as I know, the boot manager and this finds BC…

It was a strange error message and you found a unique solution!

you are right to replace the 750 driver with the microsoft default driver.

universal restore is for windows and hardly for the boot process.
I checked and the MSI Z170A Gaming M7 does have "UEFI BIOS", this means usually UEFI firmware (not BIOS firmware).
for the PCIe m.2 ports there can be RAID0 and RAID1 s…

As a diagnostic attempt you could boot from a file... The file is on your hard disk at \efi\boot\bootx64.efi and at \efi\microsoft\boot\bootmgfw.efi . You may try both. I expect that it executes and presents the smiley, with no difference. Before…

I'd like to ask what computer it is, or what motherboard?

First .. thank you for the precise descriptions!
The disk layout is GPT, and the partitions are the expected ones with the right designations (in diskpart terms). You may cross-check that partition 2 is the ESP partition.

when it tells you inaccessible boot device, it should also tell a file name, for example
\windows\system32\winload.efi ?

no 100GB / 300GB it does not matter. Are you sure you don't have other partitions, like a 100MB or a 500MB partition? Universal Restore does not matter at all (this would come much later, it is about drivers).
You should take out the origin…

From your bootable media, go to the Windows command shell (Utilities), and type
dir c:
bcdboot c:\windows /L en-us

There is an arrow button on the home page (Help text is Export/Import configuration), with it you can add "lost" images .adi or .afi to the home page. Please try it.

>>lot of unused space
how much is it?
Seriously, leave it as it is. If you care, do a Backupper system backup elsewhere there you have control over it.

>>'Unable to get the backup information because the image file does not exist, or cannot be accessed.'
This means the destination can no longer be found, and this seems also the reason why the schedule did not execute. Maybe the drive…

No (booting into recovery depends on the exact location). Why do you want to move them?
You may do the System Backup again after re-adjusting things you really want to do.

I doubt a newer version will help you: I found that the Dell Latitude E6410 came mostly with Windows 7 64 bit (but yours is 32bit), so it must be specific issues on your machine. Actually the E6410 is a very broad range of CPUs, various port opti…

your ONLY mark ist not exact, Sir.
sector copy may be useful for corrupted file systems, for corrupted partitions, and for foreign file system, for unformatted partitions. It could also be helpful to preserve deleted data, be…

The only issue that I could verify is that the stick has to be connected before you start PE Builder.

How to create a bootable stick the easy way:
Format the stick as FAT32 (default). Create an ISO in PEBuilder. Mount the ISO (I'm not sure if it exists in Windows 7, please try with a right click), this makes a virtual CDROM. Copy the …

From other experience I suggest you enlarge the Aomei Recovery Partition a bit at the expense of drive I: I notice the Aomei Recovery Partition it is nearly empty. I think that OKR System Backup gave an error, and it did not complete.

Step3 and Step4 are completely unnecessary, there needs not be a drive letter. Why did you check the structure and how?

The Windows boot manager gets installed by Windows at various places. On a MBR disk, the "system, active" partition can be set apart, or the "system, active" mark can be on the "boot" partition. On a GPT disk, the boot manager is always in the sepa…

BootIce does not need installation and it is 866KB (x64+x86 together). With no spare room on the SSD Windows doesn't work anyway. Use BootIce 1.3.3.2 from here in AOMEI backup : clone system partition and BIOS boot options ? Comment by Peter13feb April 2016

I assume the error is on the bootable media? There is no VSS.
Otherwise you have an issue with your OS, if the error occurs in the live windows.
