More GB with no change in available space!?

I just used Partition Assistant Server to add 40GB to my C:\partition on my Windows 2008 Server.  Itseemed like everything worked, but the C:\ partition shows the same amount of spaceleft (1.8GB) even though the total space is 40GB larger.  You’d expect it to report 41.8GB free.  What gives?
