In version 4 you can doubleclick on the top of any column in order to make it sort that way.
If you want to sort on a date in a correct manner make sure that the date format is dd.mm.yyyy and not d.m.yyyy. Even better would…

I have noticed that during the installation of backupper 4.0 it refused to replace the drivers.
So what I did was: first uninstall old version, reboot, install version 4.0, reboot.
Very strange still with those drivers. Installation p…

Ah, nice to hear. So that will maybe be a nice Xmas present...

Very quiet here indeed, but the AOMEI website http://www.aomeitech.com looks all new and redesigned, so perhaps all efforts went into that...

Do you get the same results when restoring to a drive that is RAW, which is a drive that contains no partitions at all?
Have you checked out the lay-out of the partitions after the restore with a partitioning program like AOMEI Partition As…

And we are still waiting...
Two major problems still: 1- driver signing problem which prevents correct installation of AOMEI Backupper (in case of fresh install of Win10AU & secure boot on);
2- failed tasks when using scheduled ba…

This sounds like another problem with the Scheduled Backup option.
There seems to be a conflict between AOMEI Backupper Pro and Windows 10 AU when you use a scheduled backup with disk management: tasks do not run after a reboot.
Still…

If you do a restore of an old backup including .ost files wouldn't those old .ost files conflict with the present state of Oulook accounts in case the mailboxes of these accounts had changed since the backup?
So wouldn't it indeed be wiser …

I can't understand that this problem still hasn't been resolved after 4 months since Windows 10 AU was distributed... Simply incredible.
-
You can put both in one image. But that is not practical at all!
Normally you would only want to restore your system disk C if any problem comes up.
And any missing or accidentally erased data on your disk D could easily be retrieved …

Nothing is fixed. There was only a very small update under the same version number (!) which repaired an inssue where one could not install the program under Win10 AU.
After that there was only silence: the driver signing issue still isn't …

I am also still waiting... for almost 3 months now since this problem arose after the anniversary update early august...
-
The problem is most definately related to the driver signing, or better: the wrong driver signing done by AOMEI.
In another thread about the failing of Backupper after updating to Windows10AU this is one of the causes of all kinds of proble…

And in the mean time I do hope that the technicians not only look at the driver signing problem but also at the original problem of the buggy drive space management. It is simply not working when Backupper 3.5 is installed on Win10 AU. Something …

I have noticed something else regarding this problem of skipping tasks.
If you create a backup task, a hidden file with a name like "f870c249-78e0-49ab-a037-5778e845b16a" in the map C:\ProgramData\AomeiBR\ is made.
But as soon as you …

That does not make a difference. The scheduled task with disk space management is skipped after a restart or reboot. Never had this problem before Anniversary Update.
-
Is there also any progress regarding the problem of skipping backup tasks with disk space management on after reboot?
-
As it seems there is nothing fixed yet. I have had contact again with Support, I emailed them my task file and log files, and again explaining them the problem. I hope this will help solve the issues.
That I was able to install the 'new' 3.…

I have been contacted by support, they gave me a link, unfortunately this link goes to the old 3.5 version of Backupper Pro... so where is the new version? It still does not work!

After some more testing and again reinstalling Backupper Pro: it really does seem to be the option "backup with scheme" (which handles disk space management) which causes the problems (as mentioned earlier by UpBear).
If I …

&RiseT: yes UEFI system with secure boot. May it is possible to make Backupper run correctly with secure boot disabled, but that makes my system vulnerable and can't be the meaning of running security and backup software?
-
@RiseT: Thank you for your information. I suppose you are directing this information to the people/programmers of AOMEI in order for them to get the drivers of the update …

Where is the download link for the new version of Backupper Pro? (version 4.0?)
I have contacted support and sent them an email; I get no reply and I cannot find a new version on the AOMEI website: still there is only version 3.5...

Yes, better shield of Macrium Reflect than a non-working Backupper. AOMEI looks a bit like North Korea, they are also still testing missiles and saying sorry for failures... Now waiting 8 weeks for update of Backupper... ridiculous in my opinion.…

I understand that problems will perhaps be solved in the new version.
But the question is: when will the new version come?

I am also a paying customer, I have payed for the Pro version, with lifetime support and updates... I do not understand why it is taking such a long time to solve this problem.
I cannot use my Pro version at the moment, I cannot make normal…

Sitting duck must wait a very long time for update, sitting duck is becoming very old crow.

This should work.
However, it is safer to first make a bootable USB disk with Backupper (you find this option in Backupper in the Utilities section, called Create Bootable Media).
Then boot from the USB stick and then restore from you…

OK, glad that things are working again.
The problem wasn't really the fault of Backupper, but just the result of a broken off cloning process.
However, AOMEI could improve their Backupper program by not leaving the HDD in such a state…
