  • Hi Camper,

Make a Folder in your portable drive i.e. "\Images"

Direct your "step 2" to that folder, and use the "Task Name" to name your system...this will create another folder with your image inside whatever your folder is named d…

  • I work with several different O/S and created WinPE tool using Windows 7 x64, I am unable to "repair" the Boot unless I actually use the O/S of the system I'm repairing...such as Windows 8.1 x86.

Is there a way around this?

  • I was just about to ask that you include boot Windows repair...lucky for me you already did....Great Job! Thank you.

  • Thanks for following up...I don't think that when I select the system image to restore it should go to what picture 3 from earlier post..."Partition Restore" the program should go to what picture 2 shows "Operation Summary". I've only had to deal…

  • I'll try image

Orginal system image shiped with laptop is Windows 8 x64.

I partition the HDD with a 2nd partition called "DATA"

  • Hi Kim,

Eventually I had to re-install Windows 8 and create another image...this now allows me to "System Restore" both images W8 and W8.1

This is not the first time I've gone through this...perhaps some underlying issue…

  • The "operational summary" is only available when restoring W8.1.

When I try to restore Windows 8 I do not get "operation summary", I am presented with "Partition Restore".,..This is where I have an issue...I cannot go any further because I …

  • Thank for your response...I am not using Windows XP.

I created an Image of Window 8 (Orginal with System), then upgraded to Windows 8.1 and created another image.

On the "Home" tab there shows the two images but when I go to select "W…

  • I am also getting into this problem.

It seems to thing the "system restore" is a "partition restore"

When I select the image to restore...

Pop up- "Program dectects the selected backup is a system image, would you like to do a s…

  • With the BETA version I no longer get a BSOD...just the "Preparing the Automatic Repair" then "Diagnosing your PC"...Then the system reboots to Windows 8.1 no further problems.
So far this only happens with one of three laptops I've imaged...a …
  • I downloaded the Beta v2.0 and create an UEFI boot USB. I am able to easily create an image but when restoring I still get "repairing system" when first boot. Now though I can let it run and the system comes back up without further repairing as befo…
  • Thanks for the response,

When system restore, I keep the default option back to the original location. Where upon reboot, I am presented with "Which Keyboard Layout" option. Then the system reboots and fails.
    The BSOD states:
  • Sorry for the double post...
As for "System Backup" and "Restore"...Fail ":(
Had to go through several restart and repair procedures to bring back up Windows 8.1
  • Thank you for the quick reply,

    I will try "system backup"

    As for the confusion-
    I do not "multi-boot O/S".
I use one system and install an O/S.
I partition the drive to create a "backups" partition.
    I instal…
  • Thanks for the clear explanation.
I need to load different O/S's such as Vista, Win7, Win8, etc... onto the same system.
Should I use "System BackUp" or "Partition Backup"?
I've tried Partition backup of the Win 8.1 O/S and when I go…
