If you try to install Win10 from scratch using installation DVD/USB is the ssd500 then seen? Can you install Windows 10? If that works then try to restore again. Maybe you need to Clean the ssd with Diskpart.exe before the restore.

If your SSD is connected through USB goto CMD.exe in the running OS and start Diskpart.exe

Your OS is on F ? Almost 700 GB is in use. You have to clone the whole F partition and the system partition, I guess the software cannot extract only the OS part from the partition and expect it to work.

Don't know about PA. We always use Aomei Backupper Free. There is a Disk Clone option or a System Backup+System Restore option in it. System Clone is only available in the paid version.

You can explore the backup in the Utilities menu. It will mount the backup and assign drive letter(s). Then you can use Windows Explorer or any other Explorer to browse.

Both types of Backup will make a backup image capable of booting when restored, so including the System reserved and C and maybe the Recovery Partition. Aomei will decide what is needed...
