Yes unless you want to keep more than one set. Some people keep older sets to possibly retrieve a file that was later erased before the next full backup was done. If you don't need anything from further back it will not be a problem to erase older s…

A "System" backup will only backup those partitions necessary to run Windows. It will not backup the recovery partition or your DellSupport partition. You do not need either. I have no idea if that glitch was ever fixed. I stopped using Backupper ov…

Windows won't (shouldn't) boot from an external drive. If not, all you can is boot normally and explore the image but that won't tell you if it's bootable.

You usually test by putting in a spare drive in place of the C drive, do a restore to it and see if it boots. This may be hard or impossible with a laptop. What size is your C drive? A 1.3TB image would signify, with some compression, your original …

Win 10 is a very hardy product. I've done multiple test restores to an older PC which I use as a test bed for playing around without using universal restore. During restart, Windows seems to find enough drivers, etc to boot into the Windows desktop.…

The brand or size of the replacement disks have no bearing on universal restore. Universal is only used when there is a major system change such as a new motherboard. A normal restore will work fine with just a drive replacement.

I'll go out a limb and say what you want to do can't be done with Aomei. If I'm wrong possibly the forum admin can jump in and correct this. Or you can email support for a better answer.
In order to restore the OS partition, you have to boot fr…Again, do you have the Pro version?Do you have the Pro version? You seem to know what you want to do and how to do it. You should be ok.If you make a SYSTEM image, Aomei will only restore those partitions necessary to make the disk boot. In this case it would be the EFI, MSR and C partitions. You do not need the Recovery partition and a lot of people try to delete it. Otherwise, no you can't just backup the OS and not the data on the same partition. If you aren't using old system, just put existing OS SSD in new system.
