Bingo. Ran Q-Dir as administrator and was able to open all the folders. Not sure why Windows Explorer doesn't appear to have that option. Maybe just because.

Thanks, but Q-Dir doesn't seem to help. When I "Explore Image" through AOMEI and it attaches my backup as a virtual partition (E:\ drive in this case) and pull it up in Q-Dir, I get a "Connect Error(4)" in the Q-Dir window. Suggestions?? Thank yo…

I think you're right ... that Delete Backup in Advanced merely deletes the tasks. It does not actually the backup file itself, which I believe you can reassociate with the AOMEI UI. But I haven't done it in a while.

It appears that when I try to delete a Backup from Home/specific backup file/Advanced/Delete Backup, that does not delete the underlying files (I'm version 1.6 or 2.0.1, not clear). Is that correct? I did not think to go to "Locate Image" since …
