I deleted the '10' day backup plan and instead created a '3' day plan per AOMEI's recommendation. Now my system crashes when that job shedule kicks in at 1am and the Windows 10 system reboots unexpectedly.
I sure wish I…

Charlie: it doesn't work.

I posted this before, but perhaps it's not being understood. You can temporarily disable the requirement to have a signed driver and then install AOMEI 3.5 in windows 10. After it's installed, you can reenable Driver Signature Enforcement. Rea…

Microsoft and the EV certificate cost and hurdles will be enough to put many small vendors out of business. Either they absorb the new costs or pass those onto their customers, which could result in loses either way. Or convert apps to Java, whic…

I sent email to [email protected] with attachments.

Yes, it has now failed 2 nights in a row due to no disk space and it's not deleting the old files when it needs space. Where do you want me to email the information that you're requesting?
More importantly, when will a fix for …

I disabled the requirement to have signed drivers in Windows 10. I don't know why MS continues to treat eveyone like babies. Here's a website that describes how to do that:

I understand why now and it's not necessarily an AOMEI issue. However, it is because you're using MS Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) and it in turn references settings in the registry that by default are coded to ignore specific things including…

I"m going to try this registry setting or edit.

Have you taken any steps to enable the backup of OST files? This is frustrating! Still not backing up in v.3.5. Is it time to buy another vendors offerings? FULL backup should be FULL backup!

I too am getting two such errors when scheduled jobs start yet the backups appear intact. Am using AOMEI service not MS Task Scheduler. The login account is the local system account. Windows 10 Anniversary Edition.

Yes, I understand about the two options. I was pointing out that 1) the smtp email is working for me and 2) the htmp option isn't working.
So in my case, the SMTP email using my smtp server is working. However, I indicated to use HTML email and while I do receive the email and it sort of has HTML code, it's not formated correctly and is plain text with some malformed breaks. Below …
I don't know exactly, but I suspect it wold have been this: http://www.aomeisoftware.com/download/adb/ABPro.exe
Thats fine. Thank you.
I'm glad that I read this because I just enabled the email option and the test email was successful. I'd be chasing my tail tomorrow if I didn't receive an email at the end of the nightly job.
I just found it! This is an existing backup schedule/job. In the Home tab, and for the job in question, click Advanced; Edit Backup; Enable the Backup Scheme at the bottom of the window; Enable Disk Management; Now set the space management opti…
It originated from your site. Why would you include a trojan in an installation package?
Thanks for the new release. Based on the above post about a hung system, it it ok to install the new release and replace v3.2 pro edition or should we wait a while longer?
What is the name of the calendar that you use? "Next month" "This month" "Two weeks". Obviously I'm not usin ght esame calendar as you.
As with "tomorrow", "next month" will never arrive because it's forever going to be "next month". Do you have a project plan with a target "date"?

Do you honeslty believe that MS can force a developer to use that registry adn it's settings? Are you seriously suggesting tha…
For the record, we don't all have MS Exchange server for Outlook. I use MAPI and if I had to resync in the event of a restore, it could take a very long time due to the size of my OST files and the Internet bandwidth. 4 different MAPI accounts …
Wow. I can't believe that an application that's configured to backup ALL files comes with a built-in secret list of files types that it won't back up. How retarded! At least provide an option to ignore what you think is not needed. Unbelievabl…
I second that concern! Neither full or differerential are backing up the MS outlook OST files! What's going on?!? Full is full, no? Not full less random file types!
