System Backup from SSD - Restore to other HD partition, making it bootable.

System Backup from SSD - Restore to other HD partition, making it bootable.

I am using three (3) drive in my computer (Disk "0" Boot -120 GB SSD, plus two HD).

On my first HD the first partition (100 GB) reserved for system, for optional

boot option. The same "HD" other portions are full with data!

My "WIN 10" boot system on the SSD occupy 83 GB space.

My questionis; with the "AOMEI Backupper Pro" possible transfer the

SSD boot system to my HD first partition and make it bootable.

Not effecting existing data on the same disk other partitions!

My idea make a "System backup" to my second HD and "Restore" it to

my first HD - first 100 GB reserved partition.

Naturally I am expecting this HD drive become bootable.

Start "F8", select boot option, if the SSD boot fail.

Please advise. I am planning buy the "AOMEI Backupper Pro"

if this "Restore" procedure is functional. Thank you, Joseph

  • Joseph,

Yes, you can make system backup to back up the operating system on your SSD. Then restore the image on your HD. And it will be bootable.
