Universal Restore does not work

I've a Lenovo ThinkCenter Edge 91 system that has been giving me problems, so I decided to do a Disk to Image first. That was successful.

I then decided to do a Universal Restore onto another system, at Dell Precision T1650 desktop using the image I had just created, making sure and doubly sure to check the box for Universal Restore. Image to Disk was successful.

Now I'm stuck at a blinking cursor on a black screen and I'm unable to progress onwards. I've tried everything under the BIOS, making sure the Disk isnt in AHCI or RAID, making sure everything is set to legacy boot (because Windows 7) but nothing works.

What did I do wrong?

Universal restore makes the drivers in the original image available on the new hardware.

If you are using oem machines, it may be that machine specific drivers are needed, not included in windows driverstore filerepository by default.
