Restoring to New Hard Drive

Hi,


I make regular DISK backups to my external hard drive. A few days ago my desktops internal HDD crashed and has had to be replaced. When I receive my computer back with its new internal HDD, can I simply restore my most recent disk backup to the new C: drive and have my computer in the state it was previously in with all the same files, settings, etc?

    Hello Rakkien ,


     As you mentioned what you have done is a DISK backup,when it comes to restoring, you have to ensure that your new disk space is larger than the one you backed up. hope you enjoy it.:)
