Something is very wrong with Back upper!

For a week now I have been unable to get a complete full system backup. It has failed multiple times with a backup failed because there is not enough disk space. I  backup to an external 1TB drive, the entire system uses less than 1GB. I've removed/deleted all files on the drive several times and reran the backup with the same result! It takes HOURS to do the backup and the same to check why.

If the destination filesystem is FAT32, the backup file.adi must be smaller than 4GB. If the destination filesystem is ExFAT, it can make a file of any size.
Please post a screenshot of your issue, and also of
    Cmd
    Diskpart
    list disk
    select disk #
    list partition
    list volume
    detail disk

  • After many trial and error attempts, I think I finally got a daily backup running again. The external file type I back up to is NTFS and is a Seagate Portable 1TB Drive. It seems my problem is with the complexity of Backupper choices and no real documentation to explain what the choice does or does not do.
But thanks for getting back to me, I appreciate your support.
