VSS error in Event Viewer when creating backup

Hello,

I have this error in Event Viewer probably happens when creating backup. Backup finishes and I successfully restore it in past. Is this error harmless, or something to worry about?

Event 8194.

Details:

Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error querying for the IVssWriterCallback interface.  hr = 0x80070005, Access is denied.

  • @Empleat, Generally, AOMEI Backupper will call Vss service to backup. But, sometimes, it might call Vss failed. Then, it will automatically switch to AOMEI Service to continue the backup. So, backup is completed. You can ignore the error. We will optimize it after.
