How can I move unallocated space from Disk 2 to Disk 1, so that I can extend more space on my C drive. Please give me exact steps on how to do it. I will include an attachment. Thank you!
First convert disk 2 to GPT. Then try either of these methods. Method 1 will wipe both disks so if you have a disk image stored elsewhere, you may be able to restore it to the new drive. Neither method is great and both have it's drawbacks. And method 1 may only apply to data disks, not the OS. That's why you should have a backup before you start. I assumed you needed more space to save files on your C drive. if i read the article correctly, after setting up storage space, when you save a file, say to your documents folder on C, it will actually use space on your other drive but you'll still see it as being in it's original folder on C. If that's not what you wanted please explain further what your goal is.
