Windows 10 runs very slow after HD copy

After I finished copying one HD to another, Windows 10 starts up and runs very slow. The HD is a Western Digital 1TB (Black). I went from an SSD 500GB to the Western Digital 1TB drive.

If you went from an SSD system drive to a mechanical HD, that is exactly what would happen. Most people change their boot drive from an HD to an SSD for speed. In fact, one of the best upgrades you can do for a PC is to have an SSD drive as your main boot, C system drive. That's what you want and keep the 1TB drive as a secondary data drive.
  • Got you. The 1 TB was just laying around, so I thought I'll just use it. In this case, I'm going to buy a 1 TB SSD card.
    Thanks for letting me know.
