Portable Use (cant find documentation or how-to in KB)
Does anyone have it done successfully?
My experience so far:
Sometimes it works when you run back-upper service using "abservice --install"
Sometimes service appeared to be installed but not running (even after reboot).
When service is not running I always end up with "Failed to enable the backup service, please try again or reinstall the software and try again. Contact our technical support for help if this message still appears"
I tried portable use via:
1. copy folder from installed PC to another PC
2. running from remote PC via \\server\share\backupersoftware
I tried various combinations of OS:
Win7, Win10 multiple editions, Server 2003, Server 2008, Server 2008R2, Server 2012, Server 2012R2. The only way to run it is to install it on system you want to backup from.
version tried - Backupper technition plus 4.0.6 and 4.1.0
