File sync: Obsolete files are not deleted.

Hi everyone, i have set up some file syncs. My aim is to backup the content of some folders from my notebook to my NAS once a week. My problem is that the sync adds new files to the mirror folder on the NAS but it doesn't remove deleted ones. For instance i have the files A, B, C in both folders. I delete file A and add file D in the source. The source folder now contains B, C, D. If i run the sync the target folder has A, B, C, D in it but i expect the Backupper to delete A in the target folder as well. Any advice to fix that? Thanks in advance and regards, Peter

  • And if you accidently deleted A? Then you would be happy to have a backup...
  • I don't use file sync but if remember correctly someone asked about this a year or so ago. I think the answer given was it would go away after the next sync. Not 100% sure but you might give it a try and see what you get after a few more syncs.
  • Only the real-time sync will delete files in target folder.
