Problem booting after disk copy

Every time I get the message "Operating system not found...press any key to restart" Pressing a key restarts properly in Windows 10. It looks as if there is another OS (probably Win PE) in the boot.exe file but I don't know how to clear it.
Any suggestions?

You could try EasyBCD.

Thanks for that suggestion, but it didn't work.
EasyBCD only found Windows 10 in the boot file.
I deleted the entry, clearing the boot file, and re-entered it.
Still the same problem.

Try to repair the boot with the installation disk of Win10. See answer of Aswin Anand in

Thanks for all your help. I've found the problem. The computer was trying to boot from an empty USB stick I had forgotten to remove.:'(
