Performance question about Backupper

I've been using AOMEI Backupper for some time and I have noticed that the "Automatically  check  the  backup  on  completion" feature seems to take the same runtime for a full backup vs a daily Incremental backup ?  I would expect that the checking of the newly created Incremental file would run much faster.   Maybe what I really need know is "What is this feature checking" ?

    It is checking the data integrity of the backup image.

    For clarification, your saying that its checking the "Entire" image, not just the current Incremental file ?

    So you are saying that you don't know ?  I just want to know why it takes so long to perform a check when doing a Incremental backup ?

    What if you check the image manually in Utilities? How long will it take?
