ERROR: No such partition

Hi I tried to merge C: where my windows is with an allocated space in my computer. When I restarted it says error:no such partition, entering rescue mode. I have kubuntu  16 in dual boot and I think this is due to grub loader. Is there any commands to force grub into aoemi preOS mode? Otherwise I fear that my windiws parttion is destroyed along with activated windows and office 2016. Please help.

    It is not recommended to merge these partitions, your kubuntu may not be bootable.
