File Sync questions

Hi,


Curious about file sync. I currently use backupper to make a weekly backup that I take offsite.  Wondering about using an external drive or NAS to use file sync as well. Would prefer a NAS, but is seems so much slower than an extenral drive. 


My question are:


1) Can I still run my weekly backup if I am using file sync? 


2) If file sync is syncing to an external hard drive, and the drive is ejected when file sync is running in the background, will file sync resume on its own when the drive is reconnected, or will file sync fail?

    2. The sync will fail.

    Okay, one more question. If I do a file sync to a network drive and the computer goes to sleep, will the sync fail or when the computer wakes up will it continue?

    The program will prevent the computer from going to sleep if the file sync is running.
