Merging Un-Allocated Space with C-Drive doesn't work ! HELP

When i try to merge un-allocated space with my c-drive its says it needs to restart but after restarting nothing has changed

am i doing something wrong?

    Eden,

    That screen shot isn't too clear.  Is the unallocated space from after the merge operation/reboot?  Also, when you were done setting up the merge, did you hit the Apply button in the upper left corner of the window?
