AOMEI partition assistant

edited December 2014 in AOMEI Products Support

I have a net top (No dvd drive) with win xp as operating system.

Using your AOMEI backupper standard v 2.1, I created a boot up disc
on a usb sd card after installing the windows AIK and the program
   returned a success message:

"............Succeeded in creating this bootable device. You can use this bootable device to boot your computer.........."

I wanted to check the same.  I changed the boot sequence in the bios to boot FIRST from USB KEY:GENERIC STORAGE
DEVICE, saved it, but  the bios returned an error as follows:

"A DISK READ ERROR OCCURRED. PRESS CONTRL+ALT+DEL TO  RESTART"

Then I made another bootable disk using the AOMEI Partition Assistant v 5.6 and this time also the computer failed to boot and the bios gave the following error:

"Disk Error. Precc contrl+Alt+Del to restart"

It is pertinent to mention that  the bootable disk created in windows 7 system worked well as intended.

What is wrong with both your programs vis-a-vis Win XP?
