Prompted to upgrade, now demands license code

I started to do a backup (first in a long time--don't yell at me).

I was given a dialog that program was out of date and a link to get new one.

Did so...Standard 2.1.0, the 19,562 KB version to run in Windows 8.1 (though site labels it loudly as Windows 7.)

Installed it.

Now when I run it, it Pops an expiration notice dialog and demands a license code when I click "Start Backup."


Wish I had not upgraded.

  • Cancel the previous;  I reinstalled and it works now. Don't know why it did that strange thing--it seemed to be running fine, just wanted the code.

  • When I closed the dialog which asked me to enter code, it just works fine.
