After updating to version 2.1.0, cannot access previous tasks

AOMEI Backupper. Win7 OS. I found the tutorial which says to move the new xml file to another location, and then rename the old task to the new version. However, when I move the new task, the new xml file is automatically re-created so I can never rename my old xml file. Also, the new xml file is named ...2.0.1, not 2.1.0 as I expected. What am I doing wrong?

    Joedeweese,

    The automatic file recreation is probably being done by the Aomei service.  Try stopping that service in the Services control panel applet, then attempt your renaming.  As far as the name is concerned, use whatever name the software sets it to for your XML.  Chances are the developers simply didn't change the file name for compatibility when upgrading.
