Bootdisk keeps rebooting computer when I try to perform a backup

I got the Windows PE environment loaded and go to do a system backup onto my external usb hard drive. If I hit "backup options" or try to start the backup, it shows the backup screen at 0%, then reboots the computer. 


Any ideas on what's going on here?
