MS AIK delete

I'm keen to create a boot disc for Win 7 incase I can't boot so I can proceed to restore a AOMEI backup image of ny C drive.

Question is, can I uninstall AIK when ther boot disc has been created as I would have no further use for it unless it's needed as part of the boot disc process?
