Error when using AOMEI Partition Assistant

Hi there I am trying to initialize a WD Elements 3TB portable hard drive using AOMEI Partition Assistant but keep getting the code 45 failed to initialize this disk message. Refer to the attached screenshots to view the details. Any help would be greatly received.


  • Today I tried using the Windows Disk Management tool to initialize the disk as this was the AOMEI recommended solution for a code 45 error but it still does not work I just get "The request failed due to a fatal device hardware error" message. Refer to the screenshot attached.

  • @NJS, It seems that the disk is damaged. Our software can't handle it.
