Lose registration when cloning the drive

I have a ticket #272668 for an issue where I cloned the disk where Backupper Pro was registered, removed old drive, and booted from new drive. Now says Trial licence, and will not let me use the registration key to re-register. Does this mean that I have to open a ticket each time I ever migrate the system drive?

Please update my ticket so I can use the product I just purchased?
