Cloning Process Order with an MBR HDD and Sector 1

When does the cloning tool copy the Master Boot Code (Sector 1) on an MBR HDD during the cloning process?   Does the cloning begin at Sector 1 and end at the last used sector on the Source HDD?

I recently had a problem using another cloning product where the cloning process damaged the MBR (Sector 1) for both the Source and Target HDD's rendering them unbootable.  That particular cloning software copies the MBR at the end of the cloning process.  I fixed both HDD's with "Bootrec" but I was curious how the AOMEI cloning tool clones MBR HDD's.

    Cloning disk will not clone the MBR, the MBR is rebuilt by the program. And performing disk clone is just like cloning multiple partitions at the same time.Disk clone will clone the partitions on the disk one by one.
