    @admin ok and which backup service do you recommend? VSS like stated in the docs or the AOMEI Backup Service?

    You still can use the Vss service by default.

    old posts but BSOD are not fun. and rare now, not seen one ,ever since, 2015 , day before w10 release. I get now, today with newest backupper. live system backup, C: (all) to my NAS server, (have many) the event viewer critical show , 2 files fail. SECdrv.sys and CDAC15BA.sys. Safedisk , my son put on COD 1 game (2005?) and has macrovision, I deleted it and used MS VSS backup option. all cured now for the record. I disabled Macrovision in the GPeditor.msc
