Can I still have my old version windows on my new ssd?
Hello everybody,
I need help here.
I’ve stored everything on my old ssd, including windows7, applications, pictures, etc. Now, I want to buy a new ssd and want to have it installed system. If I can reinstall programs with ease on my new ssd, I have no objection, but will I lose my win7 and have to buy it again if I do so? Or is there any way to transfer it form my old ssd to the new one?
Thanks!

Hello diat,
Best practice is to always start with a fresh installation of Windows and build from there your old software.
Reinstall Windows without losing your activation
You can "Migrate Your O/S" to your new drive.
Or you can "Clone your HDD"
Hello Buckitall,
Thank you for all your suggestions. I'd like to clone my old disk first; it it doesn't work, I'll try the other methods.
