Hard Disk Drive Failure?

Today when I turn my PC on, it shows the AUSU logo as normal. But after a few seconds, it says "Hard Disk Drive Failure". I tried to turn on/off the PC, sometimes it loads normally. But sometimes it still prompts the "Hard Disk Drive Failure" message. It's odd since if it's able to load normally one time, why doesn't it do it all the time? Before the failure message came up, I use to be able to press F8 and start it in safe mode to do the system restore. However, it won't let me go to the safe mode page anymore. It's beyond aggravating. Why is it doing this? And what is a simple, hopefully free way of fixing this problem? Thanks

  • Hello,

Thank you so much for posting your questions in this forum.

I am afraid your hard disk is going to dead, you'd better replace it soon. You may try the clone feature of AOMEI Partition Assistant to replace the old disk with new one. If you cannot switch on your computer, you could creat Partition Assistant bootable disc and then boot your computer from the disc to replace your hard disk.
