Restore system backup

I want to restore a system backup but I can only select the boot partition C:Boot as the destination. This will not work, because the system backup has the same partitions as Disk0 (see image) I cannot select Disk0 as the destination. Do I have to format Disk0 first?

Yes, please format Disk0 first.

Well, "format Disk0" means delete all partitions on Disk0.
