AOMEI Backupper standard error

I recently installed Backupper after reading graet reviews.

The backup went fine ... and pleased how easy it worked.

Today
started up backupper again .. chose to do incremental backup based on
previous backup ... it starts but fails each time with same error ...
the sequence si;

Backup is initializing...

Checking volumes...

Backing up the information of storage device...

Backing up of the volume 0 (D:)...

Backing up data...

Information Code:4101

Failed to create file.

Can somoene help as to what that error code means .. I thought incremental BU would be relatively easy.

  • Are your privious backup a full backkup? Was there any application or file running on the partition you made incremental backup with or did you make a imcremental backup with your system partition? Usually, an incremental backkup can be made only when a full backup has been already made. In addition, if there is something running on the partition you are going to backup or it's a system backup, Backupper may inform you to finish the backup in PreOS mode by restarting your computer.

  • It seemed to be that AOMEI did not know where backup file was .... when I used facility to 'browse' backup, it seemed to then be OK ... and allowed incremental backup.
