Newbie: System backup/Restore

Hello,

- should I build the startup-CD from within Backupper, or use AOMEI Build-PE (no German version available, it seems)

- do I have to make a new startup-CD every time Backupper is updated?


System: Win 7 Pro SP1 64-bit, 1 SSD, 2 SATA-HDD internal.

    2. No, they are compatible. Only if you buy a new computer which will then probably be an UEFI machine.

    Meanwhile, I have created a startup-CD (Legacy, with Win 7 AIK installed), and have manually added all drivers that seem to be USB drivers, incl. Intel USB3 drivers.

    With this CD, the system booted ok, but after Backupper showed up, neither keyboard or mouse worked, and I had to do a hard reboot. Any idea what I might have done wrong? Maybe adding USB3 drivers was not ok...


    So far, I am really impressed what great software AOMEI offers with Backupper, for free!

    I never add drivers and a wired USB mouse and USB keyboard always worked. Don't use wireless mouses or keyboards
