Aomei vs. Macrium Reflect 7
Hello:
* I have purchased a NEW notebook.
* I am OPTIMIZING Win 10 settings before installing any APPS.
* I have (2) HDDs: (1) 250GB SSD (OS) + (1) WD Black 7200 RPM 1TB HDD (all apps and files).
* I do not want to INSTALL any apps until I have 1ST partitioned the HDD:
- APPS
- E: DATA
- F: MEDIA
- G: TEMP
(Afterwards... I will install all APPS and utilites to the HDD.)
QUESTIONS
- Is there any way to install BACK-UP/PARTITION SOFTWARE to a flash/USB stick... partition the HDD as above?
- Is it feasible to install BACK-UP/PARTITION SOFTWARE to the SSD to partition the HDD... then continue to utilize BACK-UP/PARTITION SOFTWARE from the SSD (for speed) to disk image both the SSD and HDD?
- Can Aomei CREATE new empty partitions (or modify existing partitions) on a disk?
- Can Aomei perform NON-DESTRUCTIVE PARTITION RESIZING of a disk with DATA is an important requirement?
Thank you in advance for a prompt and detailed response.

1. Yes, please try AOMEI PE Builder.
2. Hmm, not sure your meaning, what is "continue to utilize BACK-UP/PARTITION SOFTWARE from the SSD"?
3. Yes.
4. Yes, but a backup of data is strongly recommended.
