photo folder is empty but document folders are ok

Hi,  I took over my daughters laptop and I did a full backup of the drive using AOMEI.  I then formatted the drive and started it with factory settings and logged in as my own named user.   I then went to my daughters backup and although some documents are there the photo folders are all empty.  Is there a way that I can get to the photos, it also said something about no permission.   Could I start a new user with my daughters name, log on to that user than look at the backup.  The backup is on a separate USB connected Western Digital drive.

    Thank you for posting your questions here. As for your problem, sorry, currently we cannot solve it, but you can restore the backup to a proper place and then you are able to access that folder of your duaghters' photo.
