How to get the final update of Version 1

Aomei Backupper 1.0 was a dream come true: a full-featured imaging program which worked with Windows Server! This is very rare indeed.

How sad, then, that when Aomei produced Version 2.0, they blocked Servers from using it. One has to buy the Server version for $159!

That's quite reasonable for businesses with big networks. My copy of Windows Server came from DreamSpark, the Microsoft partner which provides FREE software to students. I configured this standalone non-networked computer to work more or less like regular Windows, following the instructions at www.win2012workstation.com. I'm now installing Windows Server 2012 R2, and can't install the new Aomei Backupper.


QUESTION: What was the last update to version 1? Where can I download it?

    "Update" is the wrong word. What I mean is the last version in the 1.x series.
