Backup File split into many small ones???

I am accustomed to Aomei creating a single large backup file. I am setting up my Surface Pro 4 with Windows 10 Creator's edition and attempting to backup to a Samsung T3 USB drive. The backup completes but, instead of a single backup image, I get many 4gb+ images. I can't find a setting to correct this. Please help!!!

    Formatted as Fat32, max files size = 4GB, max disksize=2GB.

    I guess the drive is formatted as Fat32 and has 2 partitions.

    Format as NTFS. Attention: you may lose data.

    Sorry to take so long to respond. My wife and I took a long vacation.

    I am trying to back my MS Surface Pro 4 with Windows 10 and formatted to NTFS to a Samsung T3 USB drive formatted as exFAT. I thought exFAT and NTFS had similar structure and file sizes. Is that wrong?
