Backupper 2.0 Pro not uninstalling correctly

Apparently 2.0 Pro is not uninstalling correctly because if I uninstall it, reboot, install 1.6, reboot again and try to run 1.6, it gives me a GPF every time. This is the error message I get from Windows:

How do I get 2.0 off my system? 1.6 had the ability to explore images over the network and I want to go back to it (plus I would like to know what 2.0 did to my system that is not correctly getting uninstalled).
