PreOS aborted HP laptop

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to split a partition but the PreOS countdown is always aborted 3 seconds in, and I'm directed back to the Windows Login screen. Needless to say thet the partition is intact after logging back in to Windows. I've tried turning off Safe Mode in the BIOS but no success. Can you please point me in the right direction, this has never happened to me before.

I'm running Windows 10 in a HP Spectre laptop straight out of the box.

    1, What the partition you want to split? System partition or Data partition?

        If it is data partition, yu can move the pagefile in that partition and close all the software in that partition. Then try to do it.

    2, If it also failed, you can create the bootable media to do the operation.
