SSD transfer and "Loading system" message

Hi,

I am in the process of transferring to a new machine that has a 500GB SSD drive. My old machine has a 1.5 TB C: drive with about 180GB of data. My first job was to reduce the c: partition to less than the SSD. As it was windows 8 I shrunk the partition and it went to 700Gb I then used AOMEI to get it down to 400gb. This all works fine however I now have a message on bootup saying "loading system". Is this going to be a problem when I try to copy the partition to the SSD? Can it be removed? Anything I should be wary of before going further?
