Why can't I restore a disk image to a USB drive (SSD)?

I used 2.8 to make a backup image of a SSD disk drive that I have on a USB interface.  Then when I attempt to restore it to another SSD, that drive is not even visible to BackUpper.  It is visible to Windows 7 Disk Manager, though.  And I can format and mount it etc.  Attempting to restore shows me "Drive 0" and "Drive 2" as candidates for the destination, but not     "Disk 1".  Why is this particular SSD not visible?

    Please check whether or not disk 1 is a disk with 4096 bytes per sector. If so, sorry that Backupper doesn't support this type of disks.
