Error Code 12
Description: I can't get the partition manager to partition my drive no matter what I do.I checked for errors on the drive, and still nothing. it shows an error 12 on reboot and will not partition my drive.
Solution: This
problem may be caused by Windows Device Manager, when the system starts, the Device
Manager may load your device one by one, and then record the number of your
device, when you reboot if the number of device is not same as the record, it
may cause the error code 12.
In order to solve your problem,we suggest you’d better keep the same number of devices
before your operation. Or try to connect the external disk as internal disk and
only connect the source disk and the target disk and then retry this
operation.
