unins000.dat is missing

Hi,


I'm trying to uninstall Version 5.5 of Partition Assistant Standard Edition because it looks like the software corrupted. Whenever I try to uninstall, though, I get an "..\unins000.dat does not exist. Cannot uninstall." error. I want to install Version 5.6. How do I fix this?

    Please delete the installation directory of Partition Assistant manually. Then try installing version 5.6.
