Backupper 2.5 "Failed to access the network path" errors

I keep getting this error when trying to set up my NAS. Works fine otherwise. I use a NUS2000 device and it browses / connects fine under Windows 8.1. Please advise thanks

  • This is when I'm trying to setup the backup. It can browse the NAS fine in step2, but after I double click the folder I want it to backup to it then throws up this error. I have tried different folders and drives to rule out access permission issues... I can also copy files to the folder from a command prompt no issues.

I get these messages all the time, when i boot a system ( mainly kinda recent systems like HP EliteBook 8540p or Lenovo T510 ) , once in Backupper, i can browse, but it doesnt detect network, also entering the right IP adress or server name wont make it recognize/acces the server.

So i was thinking, lets backup from my USB drive where i have those images also available, but same story here, it wont connect any other usb drives when i connect them, i tried "Reload Disks" several times and beiing patient, but it wont help...
I am using Backupper 2.5 atm, but this problem happened before also with Backupper 2.2, it isnt fun like this to restore systems when u cant acces network/nas nor USB drivers often...

The only thing that works is booting from an Unix based "Backupper" USB drive, and those recognize more easy usb driver, but network wont work, ip or name entered correctly, wont help...

I guess this is a bug related or driver issue, hope this is quickly solved because we cant keep working like this.

    Thanks,

    Andy
